Social Changemakers are visionary leaders advancing meaningful, community-based solutions in places that have experienced historic disinvestment. Rooted in resilience, dignity, and possibility, they work alongside underestimated people and under-resourced communities, building from assets rather than deficits.

At Code Hope Advisors, we recognize these leaders as community-rooted innovators whose proximity, lived experience, and courage position them to reimagine what is possible.

The Hope Forward Fellowship exists to strengthen and sustain their leadership.

A Structured Three-Year Fellowship

The Hope Forward Fellowship is a three-year leadership and social venture development experience designed to move ideas from vision to durable impact.

Over three years, Fellows receive:

• Executive coaching and advanced leadership development
• Strategic planning and venture design support
• Governance guidance and fiscal sponsorship infrastructure
• Access to aligned philanthropic capital and advisory support
• A curated peer cohort of fellow Social Changemakers
• Structured reflection, learning, and impact measurement tools

The Fellowship is intentionally designed to reduce fragmentation and avoid unnecessary nonprofit proliferation. Rather than rushing to incorporate new entities, Fellows are supported within a structured framework that allows for disciplined testing, refinement, and scaling of their work.

What Happens After Three Years

At the conclusion of the Fellowship, Social Changemakers move their work forward in one of two pathways:

Continue as a Social Changemaker Leading the Work

Remaining within a shared governance or fiscal sponsorship structure, with sustained advisory and capital alignment.

Transition into a Well-Supported 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit Organization

If incorporation is the best way forward, Fellows transition with solid board development, governance readiness, fundraising strategy, and capital alignment already in place, so they enter the sector prepared.

Our aim is not simply to fund ideas, but to cultivate durable leadership, coordinated capital, and sustainable models that strengthen what works, reduce sector fragmentation, and expand proven impact over time.
